    Ric Haury from Suncrest Gardens, a Certified Landscape Professional (CLP), will provide a presentation about his expansive Peninsula garden center and an overview about “The State of the Green Industry” with insight on where we are now and what to expect in the future

Location is Twinsburg Historical Society’s Freeman Barn, just South of the intersection of Routes 82 & 91, beside Mr. Chicken.  There is plenty of parking in the rear.

There will be many beautiful perennials, annuals, and Mother’s Day gifts.  Hours are 9:00am to noon–come early for the best selection.

Anyone with plans to plant a new tree this spring, should probably hold off until after this wave has passed.  Established trees will look like they’ve been through a storm but should be fine afterward.

Mature trees and shrubs usually survive even dense emergences of cicadas without apparent distress. This can be difficult to believe in the month or so following a large emergence when many deciduous trees turn brown due to the breakage and death of peripheral twigs. As serious as it may appear, such damage is apparently minor
