History of the English Landscape

Cara, a Master Gardener, recently made a trip to England and has prepared a talk and slide show sharing her insights into the history of the English landscape.

 

July 14 (Saturday)    
Field trip to Wade & Gatton Nurseries Picnic in the gardens
and a stop at Grandpa’s Cheesebarn

Leave Twinsburg at 9am via carpool to the nursery.  We’ll tour the hosta and daylily gardens which will be in full bloom. At the end of the tour each person will receive a free plant and will have the opportunity to shop for their favorite plants.  We’ll picnic in the gardens before leaving for home.

On the way we’ll stop for shopping at Grandpa’s Cheese Barn for cheese, spreads, gifts and candy.

We have reported each week this summer on beautiful gardens in Twinsburg.  At this meeting we will review them and reveal the winner of the coveted Garden of the Year award.

Swags and Initial Wreath

We will again make the swags to be placed throughout the city of Twinsburg.  Following this there will be a workshop on making a wreath in the shape of your initial.
